A Small Group Ministry (SGM) is a means to build smaller communities that thrive within the larger church body, offering meaning, friendship and spiritual growth.

Small group ministry at UUCS has two orientations:

  • Covenant Groups — usually follow a format that has its roots in the Unitarian Universalist tradition and introduce spiritual or meaning-building themes in the context of a once a month meeting.
  • Affinity Groups — link people up with similar interests for community-making and meet as often as the participants wish.

Getting Started with SGM
