Interrogating Travel

Sunday Services are held at 9:15 & 11 a.m.
Everybody loves to travel. But what are travel’s honest consequences for indigenous peoples, for ecosystems, even for global climate change? This guest sermon will examine some hidden effects of international tourist travel, which is arguably the largest industry on the planet.
An EWU Professor of English, Paul focuses his courses and research on the environmental humanities. His nine books include In Earshot of Water, an ecological memoir that won the Washington State Book Award, and the edited essay collection The Spokane River.
