Buildings and Grounds Team

The Buildings and Grounds team’s mission is to help maintain church property in a safe and orderly condition and to assist the administrator in organizing larger maintenance projects. If you enjoy hands-on projects and projects outdoors, this is the team for you!

Partner Church Team

The Partner Church team fosters UUCS’s relationship with our partner church in Felsőrákos, Romania through communication, education and support. Each year our team hosts a partner church weekend featuring the Hungarian dinner and program and a Sunday service by Rev. Eklof dedicated to our partnership. In a past year we raised $3,300, contributing to the Women’s and Youth Groups in Felsőrákos, the UU Partner Church Council dues, repairs on their church bell, and saving for expenses related to the visit by our partner minister or future travel by our youth to Romania. We also facilitated six scholarships for village youth to attend universities paid by individuals in our congregation.
