Sign your child in at the table in the foyer, pick up in the RE wing following service. Families with children attending during both services are welcome to sit anywhere in the sanctuary, at the family activity table in the back, or in the chapel which serves as a “mothering” room. All are welcome!
We hope to see you here!
Our Paint and Sip event has been postponed. Please stay tuned for new date and time later this summer/early fall!
The Special Collection for May is the Spokane Riverkeeper.
Spokane Riverkeeper is a vigilant guardian and advocate for the Spokane River and its watershed. The mission of the Spokane Riverkeeper is to protect, preserve, and restore the Spokane River for future generations. We envision a Spokane River where wild native fish thrive in the basin, pollution is eliminated, and the community is engaged in the River’s protection.
The Spokane River is a cherished being to all citizens of the region’s many communities. This value is a matter of equity and justice for communities and the River itself. As a member of the international Waterkeeper Alliance movement, Riverkeeper’s first priority is to defend the river against pollution and hold all polluters accountable. We use the Clean Water Act as a primary legal tool for our work. We also use education and collaboration as a primary way of communicating the values of and protecting the Spokane River..
If this ministry speaks to you we invite you to give generously. If you’d like to contribute to this special collection, you may do so when it is announced during services on the third Sunday of the month, by mailing a check to the church (4340 West Whistalks Way, Spokane, WA 99224) or by donating online. Be sure to note in the comment section that your contribution is for the “current month” special collection.
