Finally, we have some good news about our search for a pianist! Maura Kegley, who has been our interim pianist since October 31, is coming on permanently with us! I am very happy about this. Maura has plenty of experience as not only a church pianist, but also as a player for places like Patsy Clark’s. She can play just about anything and can read and improvise well. It is hard to imagine getting someone with a better background for us! Her last job was as the accompanist for the Spectrum Choir, an LGBTQ friendly choir who actually sang at our church services about three years back. She was also the pianist for Kevin Gardner, who you may remember did wonderful drag shows at our church several years back.

Maura will be doing all the music slots in our service this coming Sunday, December 5! Please help me welcome her with open arms!
