Rev. Palkó responds to our partner church service of March 6 which was designed to be shared with the Felsőrákos congregation.
Dear Jerry, Julie and Team!
Isten áldjon,
When I recorded the video, I already knew it was long, and that’s here in Transylvania, what the saying is that the dog and the priest are being held for their mouth, that is, say good long speeches. I watched the video on the site about your worship, it was very nice, congratulations. I also played a smaller, abbreviated version of the congregation, after the service. And in the afternoon we organized a small gathering. For the Partner Church occasion and Women’s Day celebration. We were in good numbers, I’m sending a photo of that too.
On the occasion of the service, we awarded the scholarship to Tímea Pap, Zoltán Pap, Mátyás Márok and Adolf Bálint. Zsolt Szász and Laura Rácz were not at home, they are studying abroad, but they will also receive the scholarship by the end of March. We are very grateful that students are supported every year. Students and their families have asked me to thank you for your contribution and supporters.
The cakes must have been very delicious, Todd also said in the video that they were very delicious. Thank you for the pictures of the room, I also showed it to the members of the congregation.
I talked to the youth yesterday, they wanted to say village cleaning in the video. But they said they would welcome any donations, they would also like to buy tools and chairs for the room. I asked them to take a group photo and have everyone sign their name so you can see it too.
On March 15, we had a national holiday. We make a red-white-green cockade on this occasion and remember those who lost their lives in the War of Independence in 1848. I attended the ceremony and said a prayer. I’ll be sending some mood photos of the event.
Thank you for everything! Thanks for the lots of nice emails, lots of pictures and great videos and support. May God make brotherhoods so sweet and memorable every year.
