Deadline to join the UUCS Mixed Choir: Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at noon.

Our Mixed Choir is gearing up for singing in December with music you just might want to sing! We’re starting out with Christmas Time Is Here from the TV production A Charlie Brown Christmas and a medley of Happy Holiday, The Holiday Season and Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! for Sunday, December 4 services. And you can further the Christmas mood by staying after the second service that day to help dress our Sanctuary with greens and decorations for the season!

Our second December “sing” is for services on December 18, when we will do A Holly Jolly Christmas and a mystery piece I have yet to choose.

Rehearsals for those of you joining us start on the first Monday after Thanksgiving, November 28 at 6:45 p.m. and continue on the Thursday of that same week, December 1 at 6:45 p.m. (We do two rehearsals the week following Thanksgiving because the Choir misses their usual Thursday rehearsal on Thanksgiving Day.) Generally speaking, our rehearsals are on Thursdays from 6:45 to 8:30 p.m.

Better yet, you can talk to me in person on Sunday, November 20 when the Choir sings next. The deadline for joining is Tuesday, November 22 at noon. If we both agree that this is a fit for you, I can then send you mp3 recordings via email so you can get a head start in learning your part.

So shake the rust out of that voice and come have some holiday fun!
