You may have noticed that the large number of kids attending Children’s Chapel on Sundays. Are you wondering how you can help our growing RE program? Here are four ways you can help:
- Volunteer in Children’s Chapel
- Donate a snack
- Tell a story
- Buy a book
If you can do one or more of these things, keep reading!
- Volunteer on Sunday mornings. The time commitment is under an hour, there’s no advance preparation required, and you get to choose your own schedule! Email Stephanie to let her know you are interested.
- Donate snacks. The kids enjoy fruit snacks, crackers, granola bars, and baked treats. Due to allergies and food preferences, we avoid eggs, almonds, peas and chicken, as well as artificial flavors and colors. Please leave donations in the striped bin under the RE table in the foyer. If you prefer to bring something homemade on a Sunday morning, just connect with Stephanie before the second service starts.
- Tell a story. If you are interested in sharing a short, captivating story or song with the congregation during the Time for All Ages, we would love to hear it. Stephanie can share more details regarding tips and copyright restrictions if you are interested.
- Buy a book. There are so many incredible children’s books that can teach valuable lessons about how to think and act like a little liberal. You can purchase from my Wishing Tree registry (https://wishingtreebookstore.com/gift-registry/LhOC0Q5pf0U) and ship the book directly to the church, or you can buy the book in person and place your donated book in the bin under the RE table.
