Hello UUCS and Choir!

I am enjoying my vacation in Boston, and it’s already August. Choir will start rehearsals on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 6:30–8:00 p.m. I am changing the rehearsal schedule to start half an hour earlier this year, which I think will work better for the winter months. The choir rehearses every Thursday in the main hall. I’m looking forward to seeing you all again. For anyone new who would like to join choir, please contact me at music@uuspokane.org. You don’t need to know how to read music, but I will check to make sure you can match pitch. Other than that, anyone is welcome to join! Our first choir performance will be on September 15, 2024. The next performance will be The Creation Spirituality of John Denver Service on October 6, 2024. After that, choir performances will be October 27, 2024; November 17, 2024 and December 15, 2024. Choir typically sings only the second service at 11:00 a.m.

Finally, our own Maura Kegley will be joining forces with Rachae Thomas to do a special concert at the Hamilton Studio on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 6:00–8:30 p.m. Rachae will also be singing this Sunday for our services. You can purchase tickets for Rachae’s show Rachae Re-Vitalize Me.
