It’s that time of year again! Our UUCS Community Auction is back—and we’re ready to have some fun, connect with one another, and raise money to support the church we love. 

The Community Auction is our biggest fundraiser of the year, helping provide the resources we need to keep UUCS programs, activities, outreach, and our mission going strong. When you participate, you’re helping us Create Community, Find Meaning, and Work for Justice. 

💛 There are lots of ways to participate! 

Donate something. Bid on something. Or do both! Every item donated creates an opportunity for connection, fun, and support for UUCS. 

Not sure what you could donate? Here are some ideas from past auction favorites: 

🍰 Share something delicious 
A favorite homemade dessert, dinner for friends, specialty meal, or baked-goods extravaganza. 

🎨 Put your creativity on display 
Artwork, photography, handmade crafts, jewelry, woodworking, or something uniquely you. 

🎶 Share your talents 
Teach a class, lead a workshop, perform, give a lesson, or share a special skill or passion. 

🥾 Create an adventure 
Offer a hike, day trip, outdoor experience, guided tour, game night, concert outing, or other memorable experience. 

🏡 Offer a getaway 
A cabin, vacation home, timeshare, camping spot, or weekend retreat can make a fantastic auction item. 

🎁 Share a personal favorite 
Gift cards are always popular! Consider a gift card to your favorite local shop, restaurant, brewery, coffee shop, bookstore, or other small business. It’sa great way to share a favorite local spot with someone else while supporting our auction. 

🧺 Build a gift basket 
Put together a themed basket filled with things you love—local treats, coffee and tea, gardening goodies, self-care items, movie-night favorites, or anything else that sparks your creativity. 

🛠️ Share a helpful service 
Yardwork, gardening, childcare, pet sitting, house cleaning, tech help, organizing, or whatever you do especially well. 

🍽️ Host a gathering 
Dinner parties, themed meals, cocktail-free happy hours, potlucks, movie nights, game nights, or other opportunities to gather and have fun are always popular! 

And don’t forget: the best auction items don’t have to cost you anything. Sometimes your time, talent, creativity, or a little hospitality is the perfect gift.
