Looking for a heart-warming way to spend a December afternoon? Join us as we celebrate our very own resident poet, Lisa Conger, and the release of her beautiful new poetry collection, Paper Boat.

Lisa will be giving a reading from her book, sharing the stories and inspirations behind her poems, and signing copies afterward. Paper Boat will be available for purchase for $20, and in true Lisa fashion, a portion of each sale will be generously donated back to the church. It’s a lovely opportunity to support a gifted UUCS artist and the mission of our community.

And since it all falls on the same day as our Annual Cookie Sale, you can pick up a plate (or two!) of holiday treats and then head into the Chapel for poetry, warmth, and connection.

Come for the cookies, stay for the poetry — or come for the poetry, stay for the cookies!
