Neighboring Faiths

“Neighboring Faiths” is a UU curriculum for middle schoolers with the following goals:
- To participate personally in the faith traditions of others.
- To reflect on the unique and universal of religious experience.
- To explore their own values as they relate to many other faith traditions.
- To become more aware of the many connections between Unitarian Universalism and other faith traditions.
- To strengthen commitment to Unitarian Universalist faith and community.
- To increase their understand and appreciation of religious diversity.
- To build relationships with peers, adult leaders, and their congregations and community.
We are conducting an abbreviated version that acknowledges our busy schedules and positions Unitarian Universalism in the context of Western religions (i.e., Judaism, Roman Catholicism, Protestant Christianity).
We will meet the following times:
- Sunday, November 30, 2025 from 11:20 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. at UUCS
- Friday, December 5, 2025 at 5:45 p.m. at Temple Beth-Shalom
- Sunday, December 7, 2025 at 10:45 a.m.at St. Aloysius Catholic Church
- Wednesday, December 10, 2025 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church
- Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 11:20 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. at UUCS
