Guest Speaker: Morton Alexander

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Spokane will host a panel discussion among several speakers who are members — or their allies — of the nationwide umbrella organization, Jewish Voice for Peace.  The latter, writes Wikipedia, is a Jewish advocacy organization “that is critical of Israel’s occupation of the Palestinian territories, and supports the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) campaign against Israel.” Among other things, panel members will discuss recent developments in the U.S. and Middle East, responses to critiques of Israeli policies, and ways that Spokane citizens can get involved in working for peace in the Middle East.
