Speaker: Ami Manning
Ami Manning has worked in housing and homeless services for the last 22 years. She is currently the Executive Director of the Spokane Regional Land Bank at the Spokane Low Income Housing Consortium. She has worked in three states in housing and homeless services (Montana, Idaho and Washington). She serves on the Governor’s Affordable Housing Advisory Board and volunteers with the Spokane Alliance’s Housing Equity Action Research Team (HEART). She studied Government and Women Studies at EWU. She currently lives in West Central Spokane with her partner, Ken, her youngest son, Indiana (15), and their dog and cat. She experienced poverty, housing insecurity and homelessness as a child and young adult. This experience is at the center of her commitment to housing and economic justice.
