Speaker: Luba Johnston
Luba Johnston was educated as a teacher of English as a second language. In Russia, she worked in secondary schools and colleges. After coming to Spokane, she became a self-employed medical and social interpreter/translator. She was also an outreach worker for the refugee program at the Spokane Regional Health District for 14 years. Luba has two daughters and four grandchildren living overseas (one family in London and the other in Russia).
