Tessa Delbridge is a seasoned communications professional, currently serving as the Director of Presidential Communications at Eastern Washington University. In this role, she serves as the lead speechwriter and communications advisor to President Shari McMahan, helping to shape the university’s most visible messages. She spent nearly a decade as a high school English teacher before transitioning into public service, where she served as a writer for two mayors at the City of Spokane. Over the years, she has ghostwritten hundreds of speeches, thousands of letters to Spokane citizens, and played a behind-the-scenes role in shaping civic and institutional narratives across our region.
