Meaningful Movies is back in person* at the Magic Lantern Theatre!  There is also a Zoom option, to view the film and discussion.

Meaningful Movies has partnered with Mujeres in Action to screen the powerful local documentary El Poder de Contarlo (The Power to Tell).

The film follows the stories of Latinx immigrant women, who overcame abusive relationships, and filled with hope, continue to fight for a better future for themselves and their families. A grant by Empire Health Foundation made the production of this documentary possible. The film is 30 minutes long and contains graphic language about violence, which may not be appropriate for minors under 13 years of age. Spanish with English subtitles.
