Please do join us for this week’s services with Rev. Dr. Finley C. Campbell, a black Baptist minister and longtime UU, on the best tactics to use to reduce racism! Personally, I’m very excited to learn from him about this important subject. In the last several years I have felt discouraged about our progress in this area and would welcome his insights.
Musically speaking, Planted by Hands, a group started by UU members, Kelly LaGrutta, Peggy Eklof and Dan Gore, will play most of our music for this Sunday—another big draw for these services. This time Kelly and Peggy will be joined by Brad Keeler on guitar and mandolin and Judy Heggem-Davis on percussion. I am especially looking forward to hearing Bits of Stardust, a song written by Kelly Lagrutta, as I have been impressed by her ability to create as a singer/songwriter in the past.
So, don’t miss this one! I’m sure it will be well worth your time…
