And … information on upcoming Solstice services for December! We are being brave and returning to our live service at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. I have been rehearsing a Solstice Choir of 17 women since September and they are beginning to sound pretty good! I will also need many volunteers for various jobs, so talk to me or email me at uumusic@uuspokane.org about your interest in supporting this event.
I still plan to have our Zoom service at 4:00 p.m. that same day! Many of you have gotten comfortable with doing this service online as it avoids the crowds that usually are here, potential exposure to COVID and the bad roads that can occur in December.
I plan on keeping advertising only in-house for the live service, as it serves to keep crowds to a comfortable limit for this event. Overcrowding downgrades the service experience for people in the back and makes the possibility of infection a greater risk. We may require masks and take temperatures at the live performance. More details as we get closer.
