Mary and Tom Mosher announce the wedding of their daughter, Shanna Mosher, to James Carter.

The 11/25/22 marriage, attended by family and close friends, is at Bellwether Brewing and is being officiated by the owner of Bellwether.

Shanna grew up in UUCS, attending the RE program, the OWL program and assisting with the younger RE kids. Shanna and James dated in high school and both graduated Ferris High School in 1990. They went their separate ways thereafter, before reuniting about 25 years later. James went on to practice law for a short time, then took up teaching at Riverside HS, before eventually joining Shanna in Seattle as a vice principle at a Snohomish City HS. Shanna was an RN for about 20 years at Virginia Mason Medical Ctr in Seattle, eventually rising to a director of nursing over several departments.

In 2020, they both accomplished their goal of returning to Spokane, living about 10 minutes from Mary and Tom. James is a vice principle at Ferris HS and Shanna divides her work time as an RN at Deaconess and working remotely from home in Virginia Mason’s human resources department.
