The Board of Trustees would like to inform the congregation that we will be holding a workshop to begin the planning for our Annual Congregational Meeting which will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2023 following our second service. Our planning workshop will take place on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. via Zoom. You can find the Zoom info in the upcoming weekly Zoom link email that comes out on Tuesdays. While no other Board business will be discussed and no votes will be conducted, any member of the congregation is welcome to observe this gathering.

Additionally, the Board wishes to extend a reminder that any new Bylaw proposals or amendments from Congregants must be submitted to the Board 4 weeks prior to the Annual Meeting date (to ensure the Board has time to review for any conflicts with our governing documents). That deadline is May 7, 2023 this year. Proposals can be sent via email to board.of.trustees@adminuucs.

Lastly, we are still looking for 5 more volunteers to serve as Delegates from UUCS to General Assembly (June 21 through June 25, 2023 via Zoom). It is possible to participate in the business portion of GA by attending every meeting if you have the time and the interest — or simply to log in on the days there are ballots available and submit your vote for the issues at hand. One of our Members, Dick Burkhart, has kindly offered to keep our Delegates informed of the issues and the voting times. If you are interested and willing to contribute to this important role for our church, please let any Board Member know and we can help guide you through the registration process.
