April greetings to all. Spring has been a busy month with celebrations, joys and sorrows.
Sue Wotring shares that her daughter, Angie Dierdorff, recently completed her studies and internship and received an MS in Counseling from Eastern Washington University. She will start her private practice in June. Congratulations Angie!
Les Stone, partner of Phyliss Thayer, passed in November of 2025. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 2 p.m. at The Davenport Grand, 333 West Spokane Falls Boulevard. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Inland Northwest.
It was sad news to hear of the recent passing of Jon Bagby. Jon’s memorial will be held Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at UUCS.
And, with a heavy heart Bette Brattebo let me know that her brother passed away Friday, April 17, 2026, from a long illness. Please hold Bette and Tom in your caring thoughts.
In an email from Justin Bell, who is in chemo and radiation treatment for throat and tongue cancer, it has been a difficult journey with pain while eating and loss of weight. I am sure he would enjoy an email from others. He may also need a ride to treatments. Our caring thoughts are with you Justin.
I had a phone conversation with Mary Ann Bosky to catch up on how Roger’s recovery from heart surgery is going. Mary Ann was excited to say that Roger is almost back to normal! That is wonderful to hear. Onward Roger!
