Celebrating Pride 2026 Together

UU Spokane was proud to be part of this year’s Pride celebration! Twenty-five members and friends joined the parade, walking together in support of love, inclusion, and the inherent worth and dignity of every person. Others represented our congregation at our booth in the park, welcoming visitors, answering questions about Unitarian Universalism, and sharing information about our church community.

The day was filled with joy, energy, and hope. It was inspiring to see so many groups participating in the parade and so many people lining the streets, cheering and celebrating. Everywhere we looked, there were smiles, colorful banners, and a shared spirit of acceptance and belonging. Our presence at Pride reflects our commitment to living our values beyond our church walls. Whether marching in the parade, staffing the booth, or simply showing support, everyone who participated helped demonstrate that UU Spokane is a welcoming and affirming community for people of all identities.

Thank you to everyone who walked, volunteered at the booth, stopped by to say hello, or supported our participation in any way. Together, we helped share a message of love, inclusion, and community—and we had a wonderful time doing it.
