The Special Collection for October is for NAMI Spokane. NAMI Spokane is dedicated to three cornerstone activities that offer hope and help to people impacted by mental health conditions: support, education, and advocacy. Everything they do is led by people who have been there too — Their message is “It’s OK & You are not alone.”

NAMI Spokane serves our community in multiple ways. They offer support groups, classes, resource navigation and community education presentations. Their support groups and educational courses are offered to our community at no cost. They lean on values of courage, compassion and community to empower all those affected by mental health conditions to live their most fulfilling lives.

Donations help keep their programs and support groups, including materials, at no cost to participants.

If you’d like to contribute to this special collection, you may do so when it is announced during services on the third Sunday of the month, by mailing a check to the church (4340 West Whistalks Way, Spokane, WA 99224) or by donating online at the church website. Be sure to note in the memo section that your contribution is for this month’s special collection.
