Guest Speaker Dr. John Sheveland, Associate Professor of Religious Studies at Gonzaga University. Dr. Sheveland will talk about his personal and professional experience with inter-religious dialog–how we develop our capacity to see, hear, and understand others over time, and the benefits of those dialogs for us as individuals and as a society. As a Catholic theologian with scholarly expertise in the interplay between Christianity and Buddhism, Dr. Sheveland has written about how conversations between different faith traditions enrich our understanding both of others and of ourselves.
