In this guest presentation, retired judge Karl Boettner, Megra Flatman, and Haris Kight-Moore will present information about the work of AFID (Assisting Families Impacted by (ICE) Detention), a newly formed group that is assisting families of those detained at immigration centers with the risk of deportation. AFID’s stated mission is: “[T]o ease the hardships of those under threat of deportation who are currently detained at immigration centers and their families.” Come learn about AFID’s programs and the ways our church may be able to help.
