In this guest presentation, Laurel Fish, the Senior Organizer for the Spokane Alliance, will describe the work of the Alliance, a broad-based coalition of faith, labor, and non-profit organizations working together for the common good. The UUSC was one of the early member institutions of the Alliance. Leaders and staff from the Spokane Alliance will join us to have a conversation about pressures facing our families and how to build an inclusive, strategic, and powerful coalition so that everyday people can effect change in our community.
