Unitarianism in the East and West: Similarities and Differences

Unitarian beliefs are, literally, as old as Christ. But these beliefs didn’t become the core of a formal religion until 1567, when they were adopted as the religion of the Hungarian King, John Sigismund Zápolya. In this sermon, as we celebrate our Partnership with the Unitarian Church in Felsőrákos, Romania, we’ll consider some of the unique differences and similarities between Eastern European and Western Unitarianism.
