It isn’t news that people are irrational about politics. What may be harder to accept that YOU are irrational about politics. In this sermon, I will explore some of the reasons why we are all at times irrational about politics, how this leads to our current political disfunction, and offer some suggestions on how to have happier, healthier, and more rational discussions.

Gonzaga philosophy professor Shane Gronholz, also a member of UUCS, will help us unpack and understand Utilitarianism, while also helping us better grasp what this ethic might mean for us.
